Three places where the tool determines color options for productions.
1) Custom Print Settings - determining what is color by the document extension (for example we are seeing a lot of discovery orders requiring PowerPoints to be in color)
Select the Color requirement for each extension. Additional extensions can be added using the top empty row.
2) In production settings Default Image Color - This means if color is not specified in the custom print settings or by option 3 below how will it image the documents. Because some of the Custom Print Settings are set to be Black &White, those items will still be Black & White in your production even if you choose color as an option here.
3) The Right Click and Image as...Color in a draft production option (this trumps everything including the custom print settings).
Be mindful that color documents take longer to image and are much larger is size thus longer to export and to transport.
