Performance depends greatly on your expected usage. The recommendations are for minimum values and you can always increase capabilities for better performance.
DWR uses Microsoft SQL Server database to store information. Microsoft SQL Server Express is recommended for Single User Pro; Microsoft SQL Server Standard is recommended for Multi-Tennant Pro. Single Users with large databases may wish to consider upgrading to Microsoft SQL Server Standard and increasing the recommended RAM requirements accordingly.
In general, increasing memory will improve performance database search performance, and allow for additional concurrent users. Having physically separate drives, one for the operating system and one for your data and databases, can improve performance. Multiple “data” drives in a RAID configuration will allow for greatly improved fault tolerance. For multi-tenant configurations, improving the network adapter speed can greatly improve document review performance and reduce processing times. Dual Screen configurations allow for more efficient display of information and a smoother review process.
